Next Race Fixture

Plowman Craven travel to Ireland this weekend for the 2008 Ras. Evan Oliphant, Simon Richardson, Tom Barras, Alex Higham and Neil Coleman will ride the 8 day stage race which begins in Navan on Sunday.

This weekend also sees the start of the British Cycling Elite Circuit Series at the Hillingdon GP. The longest event in the series at 54 miles, the race covers 54 laps of the purpose built closed circuit in West London. Among the favorites are local boy and former series winner Tony Gibb who effectively began his racing career there, as well as team mate and another former series winner Simon Gaywood. James Millard and James Jackson also ride the event.

Britains Favourite Team

Plowman Craven are Britain's favorite team, according to a recent survey of Cycling Weekly readers (13 March). The boys in pink and blue won the vote ahead of rivals Rapha Condor-Recycling, KFS, Pearl Izumi, Sigma Sport and 100% Me.
